Here we have a fully loaded scratchplate with Kinman US Patent Zero-Hum pickups in excellent condition.

  • The neck PickUp is a Kinman Extra Vintage. It sounds awesome - open, clear and well defined
  • The middle single coil PickUp is a staggered PickUp; Kinman IVN 62B
  • The bridge PickUp is a Kinman PAF Plus
  • The pots are CTS with treble bleed

The bottom tone control is a push-push knob. When pushed/activated, it splits the coil on the humbuckers. You get the famous humbucker sounds, such as Gibson Les Paul, in addition you get well over ten sounds by changing the toggle position. The toggle activates the middle PickUp and engages it in any of the five standard positions - remember, you can still split the coil, thus adding more sounds.

PickUps with this wiring easily produce Telecaster and Stratocastor sounds in addition to the brilliant Gibson humbucker sounds. The quality of the components, together with the Zero-Hum gives you a quiet system which sounds awesome! I already have this configuration on another guitar and want to go back to single coils.
